As we continue our campaign drive in various BAME countries to increase the representing number of only 13% of the Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority group of 1.9 million on the donor registry, as it’s still a concern as compared to 60% of people from Northern European backgrounds.

Safe Haven A Ray of Hope continues its campaign in Nigeria, seeking ways to get the Nigerian Government to subsidise or make testing free for donors willing to voluntarily get tested and get on the donor registry just like In most other countries.

This remains a key set back for willing Nigerian donors, hence the inability to have a healthy donor registry in Nigeria and one of the poorest in the world.
